In the last two years I have been lucky enough to compete all over the world.
In 2016 I had success on the Junior circuit of the Freeride World Tour and finished as Ski Men Champion.
At the start of this year I became the youngest ever to take the top spot in the Freeride World Qualifying Tour and make the Freeride World Tour.
I grew up in Canterbury, New Zealand.
Most of our weekends and holidays included going on trips into the outdoors with the family, due to Mum and Dad being adventure racers and outdoor fanatics.
In the winter that meant skiing as much as our parents would take us.
My early love for skiing came from ripping around behind my older brother Charlie and friends, it was what drove my desire to be the best I could be on skis.
The family moved south to the stunning Lake Wanaka at the end of 2012
I was always juggling sports as I grew up, I loved so many of the countless I got to experience, so I couldn't choose how to spend my time and energy. Lately I have been focusing a lot on skiing.
Three of my most memorable moments in competitive sport outside of skiing would be:
1. Completing the Routeburn Classic mountain running race at the age of 15 and placing 3rd (2hrs 58mins)
2. Winning the NZ Schools national adventure race title.
3. Being the youngest person ever (at 16) and the first family team, to attempt and complete the Godzone, which is an adventure race on the World AR Series. -we completed the gruelling race in 5 days 17 hours and 20 minutes.
