I started skiing when I was three or four years old, after a couple years ripping behind my older brother Charlie and friends, I started to unknowingly become addicted.
I kept progressing over the years, with a bigger group of people around me, including different types of skiers with different styles. This hugely helped shape my skiing into what it is now.
The iconic NZ clubfields have played a massive part in my skiing and upbringing in general. Their relaxed atmosphere and small ski hill vibes were super cool to be around as a kid, and the terrain gave me an amazing foundation I could tweak, and build on.
I am stoked to have been introduced to touring from a young age, and having mountains at home to explore with no one around, is a real treat.
